These movements and variations should always be part of every single training program but none more than in the beginning. That's why they are the "Foundations". I'll explain how to use them for smart programming below.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

When learning to lift you need to nail the basics really well and in order to do so you want to get at least one thousand reps of each selection with great form. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
-⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
So that means don't be a hero and don't take your sets to failure. There's a time and place for that and it isn't during the beginning or with these lifts specifically. (That's what machines are for.)⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
-⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Each one of these selections done correctly will provide a direct training stimulus to every single muscle in your body including your arms and core.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Start out by doing at least 2 sets of each movement including variations for 12-15 reps for 8 weeks at least 3 days per week. Do the math, it's well over 1000.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Once you have learned to move you can have the security of knowing that once the training splits and styles get tougher you won't be moving like an ass doing quarter squats complaining about sore knees.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
