It's easy for us to put ourselves aside and give selflessly and continuously to everyone around us, especially caretakers & Mamas

There's some false idea floating around out there that being the best mom ever means not caring for ourselves as well as we care for others. That being totally selfless is the way to earn some imaginary, honorary medal of selflessness

It's easier to not exercise.
It's easier to eat the kids leftovers.
It's easier to eat purely comfort foods, filling those immediate cravings, rather than giving our bodies the nutrition we need to feel our best

I challenge you to change this narrative!

Start saying things to yourself like ⬇️
✨It's easy to make time to exercise (even just 20 minutes significantly improves for your mood with those feel-good endorphins)
✨It's easy to make myself a healthy & satisfying meal
✨It's easy to do these things because they make me feel good, and I deserve to feel good

For me, that means
➡️I always have pre-chopped salad and pre-washed spinach around
➡️ I bulk prep a protein 1-2 times/week (usually grilled chicken or ground turkey) so that when I'm hungry I'm getting enough protein in my meals
➡️ I keep other protein sources around: Greek yogurt, cottage cheese, protein powder, collagen powder, PB powder
➡️ I show up for myself in workout clothes and in my workout space 5 days/week, first thing in the morning. And once in a while, if a workout doesn't feel good and I need to rest..I listen. But it's the intention that counts
➡️ AND I tell myself: I am worth the effort. I deserve to feel good from the inside out

What's one way you're showing up for yourself this week? Tell me something you've found that works for you, or something you're working on. We are all a work in progress 💕😊
