“How do you stay motivated?” I’ve been getting this question a lot recently so I thought I’d share my secrets with you below before we enter into this new week 😉

First, I’d like to mention that my motivation actually comes and goes! I don’t wake up motivated every single day and most days I even have to FIND the motivation to get me through my daily responsibilities.

I personally don’t think “staying motivated” is actually a thing. Motivation is more so a feeling that comes and goes and changes by the season. The real thing we should be focusing on here is DISCIPLINE.

Discipline is waking up everyday and doing exactly what you said you were going to do despite any and everything.

How easy is it for us to make a plan on Sunday night to workout on Monday, but come Monday we don’t workout because we didn’t FEEL that same sense of motivation that we felt when we made the plan? You’re probably grinning right now bc you find yourself doing this a lot of the time.

So for me? I don’t leave the decision of whether or not I am going to workout and prioritize my health based on feelings.

I make the conscious decision 4 times a week to pay my dues and workout based on the goals I have set for myself and knowing the ONLY way I can reach them is by putting in the work!

Tips:
1️⃣Pre-plan your schedule so you can figure out what days and times work best for you
2️⃣ Set a time to workout and STICK to it. It makes it harder to stray away from when it’s already pre-planned for an exact time
3️⃣ Find someone or multiple people to hold you accountable to your goals
4️⃣ Stay Consistent & Never Give Up; anything worth having will not always come easy but it will ALWAYS be worth it.
